Your main purpose in this role will be to provide responsive support to service users in shared housing. Whilst building positive relationships you will deliver a high quality service to ensure that individual needs are met. You will work with service users to ensure they acquire the skills to live independently and maintain their tenancy.

It is essential that you possess:

* Substantial experience of working with people with mental health problems.
* Knowledge and understanding of the difficulties faced by vulnerable people with support needs and how those needs will be met.
* Knowledge and understanding of the community care framework, the role of statutory authorities and good practice in housing with support.
* Knowledge of the welfare benefits system.
* Understanding of the difficulties faced by vulnerable people with support needs and how those needs may be met.
