We have a vacancy for a Registered Manager at a 4 bed home in Downend/Hinton Rd, Bristol. This is as a result of internal promotion and service expansion.

Downend/Hinton Rd is located in the Fishponds area of the city and comprises a three bed house (Downend) with a separate 1 bed/high support house (Hinton.

Both homes are dual registered as a independent special school. Ages 11-18yrs.

The ideal candidate will be appropriately qualified and will have several years experience in managing children's homes and achieving good outcomes evidenced by Inspection Reports and references.

He/she will need to have a good understanding of NMS as well as a commitment to working within a integrated service providing education and therapeutic support.

A background working with Learning Difficulties and a structured approach is highly desirable.

We are looking for a manager who is a good administrator, able to pay attention to detail and make things happen.

To do this he/she must be able to supervise and motivate staff and above all take responsibility for the home , staff and young people.

Rate of Pay:

£30K - 36K WITH INCENTIVES/BONUS
