CRB Checks
As you will all be aware, the recent postal strike temporarily stopped all Royal Mail deliveries. However, you may not be aware that the strike by Liverpool members of the Communication Workers Union only ended on 19th October 2007. As the CRB is situated in Liverpool, they did not receive mail including CRB application forms posted to them in the two weeks prior to that date hence the delays in CRB’s being returned.
By checking the CRB website They do now appear to have received the majority of CRB’s sent during that time and they state they are making good progress!
